Biography

Born in 1981 and originally from the suburbs of Paris Christophe Caulay has always been fascinated by electronic music. In 1992 when the dance rage he whipped the already passionately for music less commercial type Techno, Acidcore, Drum & Bass and Hardcore particular.
By dint of listening to it on CD compiles as Thunderdome, Rave Massacre he had the urge to go fast in step higher. After having met Dj Executor who will become his best friends and with whom he start the composition of Hardcore with popular software "Fast Tracker".

After having used it several pseudo in 2002 he chose to broadcast it as the first composition "ONIX" with title like "Looser, Inside Madness, or Power of Mind."
The same year he joined the Association Dark Generation X (DGX) to share his music and his passion was the Hardcore Gabber scene growing in northern France at this time. With Bredasblar and DJ Skippy the DGX adventure continue for many years. This Live act performing in several evenings in France, Belgium or even in Switzerland.

In 2006 he signed with Bredasblar their first EP on Ego Records. Three titles sure sign that Vinyl 12''(Good night america, Followay and Bass Drunk featuring Bredasblar). A constant search for novelty and change in this production he composed the dark, minimalist titles (Kill Them, Not Escape) or as many more as Mainstream (Respect Underground). In 2007 he signed as a great dance floor title "Overnoize Anthem 2007" on the compile DHT Virus 28.
At the end of 2007 Onix begins the mix quietly, but always secondary to him for production. Preferring to evolve in the Live-act at the moment.

Working together under several other aliases, including (Soul Shaver, Imperium Bass or Breathing Hell). Onix has expanded his passion project is totally different productions Ego Rec. Working both from that of the Industrial Hardcore and Dark Ambiante he usually plays with the sounds and production techniques is present to transcribe it desires and emotions through his music.
Today after playing in places like the Cherry Moon (Be) or more unusual such as Mushrooms Cave !! for the evening Illegal Party in Switzerland. Onix think the most effective way to share it with the public production is “the live”. For him nothing is more exciting than throwing a very heavy and fat kick and see the public reaction.
To date Onix has cried almost 53 titles donated more than half do not its released. Now he seeks to work with other artist so as always to share his passion for music and Hardcore and further expand its desire to produce. The last production (Fuck the Ripper - Ego 005) in collaboration with X-Core (PHM rec) gives an overview of it's real ability to produce original and creative Hardcore.
